Yorky has been making music for a very long time, but his sound is anything but dated! There is a passion and care that goes into every track, every note, that makes Yorky stand out from the rest of the Electronica/Ambient artists. Put simply, he's got it!
Yorky is a English guy brought up on Tangerine Dream and Neuronium, prog-rock, and so on. And this influence is clear in his work, but with the modern edge. Yorky creates themes and sounds that build up and take you away, to some higher place, anthemic even, heavenly, and always well worth the experience.
"Deliciously down-tempo electronica, Yorky's inspired sonic collages take a vibrant approach to electronica, a sort of ambient with beats. Never afraid to use all the colors in the sonic palette, chilled beats splash into melodic pools of ambience while flighty basslines play with soaring guitars."
Ambient music inspired by Tangerine Dream and Neuronium. Track 1 in particular is an absolute masterpiece lasting over 28 minutes. Really absorbing and uplifting Electronica.
