| Additional Information |
In a time of global turmoil artistry awakens to acknowledge its pure purpose - to enlighten the imagination. Bringing this to birth is producer J. Rawls with his seminal solo-production effort "Histories Greatest Battles, Campaigns and Topics". The musical half of the much touted Lone Catalysts, J. Rawls plays the expanding man this time around, thrusting his all into a wild array of instrumental compositions with a charged political under-toe to boot. 11 songs, several lush interludes and musical/vocal accompaniment from BJ Bigby, Fat Jon and Tavaris, "Histories Greatest Battles, Campaigns and Topics" is the prequel to this already revered producer's successing career.
Having collaborated with the likes of Mos Def, Kweli, J-Live, Dose One (Anticon), Count Bass D, Mr. Complex, Five Deez, and Unspoken Heard, Rawls is no stranger to variation. He's also none the less a stranger to education, holding down a full time career as a 5th grade Elementary school teacher in Columbus, Ohio. This is his combination of the two - bump, learn and witness.
